About Us

Hi, I’m Elizabeth CEO and founder of Olive and Myrrh Boutique. I am a stay at home mum to three beautiful little humans, all under six, and the heart behind this boutique. I’m part of a Defence family, and in January 2025 we relocated from Canberra to Darwin.

Like many young mums, I still wanted to feel feminine, confident, and beautifully dressed, but I quickly discovered that Darwin didn’t offer many options that were both affordable and high quality, and suited to our unique climate. Even during the dry season, it’s still warm here, yet most retailers follow traditional seasonal trends that just don’t work for everyday life in the beautiful Top End.

Shopping online often meant ordering pieces just to try them on, only to realise they didn’t fit right or didn’t feel like me. The hassle and cost of returning items meant many women were left with clothes they’d spent money on but didn’t truly love.

Out of this gap, and a season of motherhood that deeply values presence, this boutique was born. I wanted to build something of my own, something I could be proud of, while still having the flexibility to be home with my little ones. More than that, I wanted this space to be a blessing. Not only to support my own family, but to uplift and serve other women too.

Every piece is chosen with intention, love and care whilst keeping the challenges that woman living in the beautiful Top End face at the forefront of our business.
